The Breakfast Club Activity
When we filmed our own version of the breakfast club as a class, we learnt that when we start filming we swhould let the camera roll for about 5 seconds so that we have room to cut the footage and to make sure you dont accidently miss out any of what you are filming. We also learnt about the 180 degree rule which is where you cant film both sides of a persons face because it doesnt look right when you edit it together. (example in the prelimary task). I also learnt that while filming from a distance, you must keep an eye out for mis en scen that may divert the viewers attention away from the actual action in the footage which is bad. I also found when it did come to the editing because we allowed for the 5 second rolling time it was easy to cut film and it didnt miss any of the action. As well as that i found that if there was some mis en scen in the fottage because we filmed from a distance it was possibly just to crop the fottage to not include what we didnt want to be seen.
